The 4K HDR Summit, “Where technology and content have time to talk”, returns eight years later to Seville, the city where it started in 2015, and to which it returns consolidated as a world reference event on technology and content in Ultra High Definition (UHD), to celebrate its X anniversary.
The Andalusian capital will once again be the epicenter of the audiovisual industry, bringing together leading experts, companies and professionals from the sector to discuss the present and future of the most advanced audiovisual technology (UHD/4K, HDR, 8K) and its applications from November 11 to 14 at the Nissan Cartuja Auditorium. The first two days (Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 November) will be face-to-face and the following two will be virtual.
During its 2024 edition, and coinciding with the celebration of the 21st edition of the Seville European Film Festival, the 4K HDR Summit will offer a unique space where attendees can learn first-hand about the latest trends and advances in 4K production, post-production and broadcasting. From content creation to distribution on digital platforms, the event will cover all the key aspects of this technology, which is increasingly present in homes, cinemas and mobile devices, and which this year has reached Spanish viewers through La 1 UHD with the Eurocup and the Olympic Games.
Application of AI in Audiovisual and the deployment of UHD in the world.
One of the highlights of the 2024 edition will be the application of Artificial Intelligence in Audiovisual, which is transforming the industry at a dizzying pace by improving the quality of the user experience and optimizing content production and distribution processes. Several companies associated with the Spanish association UHD Spain will present solutions related to Artificial Intelligence: such as dynamic ad insertion and ad-supported free-to-air (FAST) solutions powered by AI or improved coverage of live events.
The 4K HDR Summit 2024 will also place special emphasis on the current and future deployment of Ultra High Definition in the five continents, with the help of experts and keynote speakers.

International and media impact
The 4K HDR Summit also remains an excellent networking opportunity to establish contacts, discover business opportunities and strengthen collaboration between professionals in the audiovisual sector, which reinforces the role of Seville as a global meeting point for innovation in UHD technology. Since its inception in 2015, the 4K HDR Summit has had significant media coverage that has been increasing over the years as the event consolidated until reaching its 10th anniversary, which it celebrates in its 2024 edition.
