Life
Bertram Kropac was already involved in film shooting and production during his time at school at the Hardenberg Gymnasium in Fürth.

Bertram Kropac started out as a cinematographer for numerous prime time documentaries for numerous TV Stations such as ARD, ZDF, Discovery Channel, History Channel and RTL. Furthermore he was responsible for the image composition of the 35mm short movie Night Train (2000). Within that same year Bertram Kropac realized an image film about the first SUV of the sports car manufacturer Porsche: the development and design of the Porsche Cayenne. With this image film he set his starting point as an expert for innovative motion picture production in the automotive industry.
He was especially dealing with the new Stereo 3D image composition as well as the Ultra High Definition Video in 4K- to 8K resolution. The first important project in Ultra HD was realized for SKY Germany in December 2012: The shooting and postproduction of the Bundesliga Match between FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund, which turned out to be the first football match ever to be recorded in UHD resolution.
In the following year, KROPAC MEDIA was producing the world premiere for the new Audi R8 in 4K.
Although the efficiency of the new video technology could just be guaranteed for the industrial film productions, at first Berti Kropac was further on engaged as a cinematographer for television projects in the genre of nature, adventure and sport. Berti Kropacs Filmography as a cinematographer comprises about 20 television productions until the end of 2013. In addition there are more than 300 productions for bigger companies, which are shown on trade exhibitions for instance in Shanghai, Las Vegas, Detroit, Paris, Geneva as well as showrooms or rather used in internal company communication channels.
Bertram Kropac was dealing with the production of ultra sharp 8K images, the so called Big Five in south Africa in the beginning of 2014.
