Jorge Ruano is a pioneer in the development of video products over telecommunication networks. He is the Product Management Director in Nokia’s Video Business Unit in Madrid, working in the definition and development of new multimedia products. Previously he worked in Research and Development for Telefónica as Director of Multimedia Services, where he was involved in the first developments of IPTV and OTT products. Jorge has also been a representative for Telefónica in the DVB Technical Module, and a member of the FS-VDSL Management Committee.

In terms of qualifications, Jorge Ruano is an Electronical Engineer from Madrid Politechnic University, and also holds a General Management Program from ESCP Europe.
